I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge that I both live and work on the traditional territories of Kwanlin Dun First Nation and Ta'an Kwach'an Council.  I am thankful to call this beautiful city of Whitehorse my home.  I will continue to honour and respect the diverse indigenous peoples who's footsteps have marked this territory for centuries before me.

There is no greater thing we as people can do for our Mother Earth and for our children of the future than to preserve the rich heritage and relationship with this land. 

What we do on the land and our relationship with it is who we are. 

May we acknowledge the Kwan'lin Dun First Nation and the Ta'an Kwach'an Council as the past, present and future caretakers of this land, that to which may we engage with respect, relationalism and reciprocity.
